Pay: $20-22/hr based on experience

Shift: 9am-530pm (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all outgoing and incoming shipping and receiving paperwork
• Receive incoming packages and deliver them, along with the appropriate documentation, to the correct internal departments.
• Track packaging materials, monitor supply levels, and request additional materials as needed to support shipping operations.
• Assist with picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment in accordance with company standards and carrier requirements.
• Unpack incoming parts and prepare them for entry into the asset management or ERP inventory system.
• Perform data entry to accurately record shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions in computer systems.
• Support inventory control activities by helping maintain accurate stock counts and organized storage areas.
• Follow good packaging practices to ensure products are protected and properly labeled for shipment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to prioritize tasks and meet shipping deadlines.
• Handle packages and materials safely, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse or similar environment.
• General computer skills, including basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Basic PC skills with specific ability to work with Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking.
• Strong organizational skills to manage paperwork, inventory, and multiple tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, labeling, and inventory records.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal departments and documenting shipments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks associated with warehouse and shipping activities.
• Knowledge of good packaging practices to protect products during shipping.
• Data entry skills for accurately recording shipping, receiving, and inventory information.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomeryville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
