As an Inside Sales Representative (ISR), you'll work with homeowners who have already received an estimate from one of our technicians. Your job isn't to pressure customers into a decision—it's to help them make the right decision with confidence. You'll learn about each customer's situation, understand what matters most to them, answer questions, remove obstacles, and consistently follow up so customers never feel forgotten. You are the bridge between the customer's initial estimate and their decision to move forward.

Own the Customer Follow-Up Experience

• Follow up with customers who have received estimates for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC service work.
• Maintain consistent communication through phone, text, and email.
• Follow established follow-up timelines and ensure no customer opportunity falls through the cracks.
• Stay organized and manage multiple customer opportunities based on urgency and priority.
• Continue professional follow-up even when customers aren't immediately ready to decide.

Be a Customer Advocate

• Approach every conversation with the goal of understanding the customer's needs—not simply making a sale.
• Help homeowners navigate decisions involving potentially significant investments in their homes.
• Ask thoughtful questions to uncover what's most important to the customer.
• Listen carefully to concerns about price, timing, performance, reliability, and other factors.
• Build trust by being knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

• You're naturally curious and enjoy talking with people, and can build rapport quickly over the phone.

• You're comfortable discussing money and helping customers navigate significant purchases.
• You're persistent and organized, and you take ownership of your commitments.
• You can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details.
• You're comfortable using technology and CRM systems, and can communicate professionally through phone, text, and email.
• You're coachable and willing to continuously improve.
• You're able to sit and work at a computer for 6+ hours, and speak and hear clearly on the phone. 

• Responding quickly to high-priority opportunities and keeping your follow-up commitments.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
• Having meaningful conversations rather than simply reading scripts.
• Building trust with customers and converting opportunities by helping them make informed decisions.
• Communicating effectively with technicians, administrators, and leadership.
