Job Description
Scheduling patients to meet production goals. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of dental procedures and understand how the treatment time is coordinated between the doctors and EFDAs.
Although scheduling is the most integral part of the job, additional administrative responsibilities include, but not limited to answering the phones, checking patients in as they arrive, communicating with patients about their planned treatment and insurance coverage, maintaining and updating patient records using Dentrix software, and coordinating referrals with specialist when necessary.
Previous experience working as a dental receptionist and Dentrix software is required. Must possess excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational abilities. Should be able to multitask effectively and provide excellent customer service to patients.
